  5. Prepare 1 box of Shan butter chicken seasoning.
  6. Prepare 1 of onion diced.
  7. It's 8 oz of tomato sauce.
  8. It's 1 cup of water.
  9. It's 2 of bouillon cubes.
  10. You need 1 cup of cream.
  11. It's 1/2 of unsalted butter.
  12. It's 2 Tbsp of cilantro or parsley, chopped.
  13. Prepare of basmati rice, cooked.

Butter Chicken step by step

  1. Combine the lemon juice, yogurt, and seasoning in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken and mix. Set aside while you prep everything else..
  3. Heat the ghee in a large pot over medium heat.
  4. Add the onions and cook until slightly browned..
  5. Add the chicken and all the yogurt mix. Cook until the chicken begins to stick..
  6. Add the water, bouillon, tomato sauce and simmer for 30 min..
  7. Add the cream, followed by the butter and the cilantro. Stir to combine. And serve over basmati rice.
