  1. Prepare 2 lb of Chicken, cooked and chopped.
  2. It's 2 can of Large butter beans, drained.
  3. It's 3 can of Navy beans, drained.
  4. You need 2 tsp of Cumin.
  5. You need 2 tbsp of Oregano.
  6. Prepare 1 tsp of Salt.
  7. It's 2 tsp of White pepper.
  8. You need 1 cup of White onion, finely diced.
  9. It's 2 can of Chicken broth (about 5 cups).
  10. Prepare 8 oz of Diced green chilies.
  11. Prepare 2 tsp of Garlic powder OR 3-4 cloves minced garlic.
  12. You need 3 tbsp of Cornstarch, mix with one tablespoon water for thickening in the last hour.

  1. Combine all in a slow cooker (crockpot)..
  2. Cook on high for 4-6 hours or on low for 8 hours or more. You may stir once or twice gently, but don't overdo it or the beans will start to break apart..
  3. Add cornstarch slurry in the last hour or so. Mix in well..
  4. Optional toppings: fresh cilantro or green onions, pepper jack cheese, sour cream, oyster crackers, crushed tortilla chips.
