In a medium bowl using a hand mixer, beat butter and sugar until light.
It had to be buttery, a little crumbly (like shortbread), and not too sweet.

- You need 700 g of butter.
- It's 350 g of sugar.
- It's 3 of eggs.
- Prepare 1000 g of flour.
- You need of Vanilla extract or any desired flavor.

Butter cookies step by step
- Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time and mix well between each addition.
- Fold in flour and vanilla extract.
- Using a piping bag pipe (with a desired nozzle) little cookies on a lined baking tray.
- Pipe some jam in the middle of each cookies..
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 20 mins.
The dough is like my spritz cookies, but with a little milk to make it pipe-able. Make sure it's properly softened to room temperature before beginning. I made the ice box version because it's so quick. Used colored sugar to make them pretty. I really need to find an easy to use cookie press because I'd love to make the spritz version.
