  3. Prepare 1 of egg (beaten).
  4. Prepare 1 packet of onion soup mix.
  5. Prepare 1 T of minced garlic.
  6. Prepare 1 T of worchestshire sauce.
  7. Prepare 1 t of salt.
  8. You need 1 t of pepper.
  9. It's 1 t of butter.
  10. Prepare 2 cups of beef gravy.

Salisbury steak step by step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mix together meat, crumbs, egg, soup mix, garlic, worchestshire, salt, and pepper..
  3. Form into 8- 10 flat patties..
  4. Heat butter in oven proof skillet. Brown patties in batches. (They'll finish in oven).
  5. Drain off most of the fat in the skillet. Put all patties in. Pour gravy over patties. (If they don't fit transfer to casserole dish).
  6. Bake 20 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes..
  7. Just saying...I used gravy from packets for this because I wanted strong thick gravy, usually I would make it from scratch, but anyway, that's why there's no recipe for the gravy....

First time making Salisbury Steak and it turned out great! I made some changes to the recipe. This is our favorite salisbury steak recipe. I always make enough extra sauce to serve over potatoes. Tastes like it took all day to cook.
