- It's 110 gm of unsalted butter.
- You need 60 gm of powdered sugar.
- You need 1/4 tsp of salt.
- You need 1 of egg yolk.
- It's 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract.
- You need 125 gm of all purpose flour/maida.
- You need 15 gm of cornstarch/cornflour.
Butter cookies instructions
- In a bowl add sugar, softened butter and salt. Use electric beater to beat the butter till fluffy. (U can also use hand whip if u don't have electric beater)..
- Then add egg yolk and vanilla extract/essence and beat again for 2 mins..
- Sieve flour and cornflour together and add this to the butter and fold in batches.(not all together). Mix well and fill in a piping bag with star nozzle..
- Pipe cookie batter on the butter paper on a baking tray in the shape of roses. Bake for 8-10 mins at 170°c in a preheated oven. Cool on wire rack and then store in an airtight container.
