Butter cookies instructions

  1. In a bowl add sugar, softened butter and salt. Use electric beater to beat the butter till fluffy. (U can also use hand whip if u don't have electric beater)..
  2. Then add egg yolk and vanilla extract/essence and beat again for 2 mins..
  3. Sieve flour and cornflour together and add this to the butter and fold in batches.(not all together). Mix well and fill in a piping bag with star nozzle..
  4. Pipe cookie batter on the butter paper on a baking tray in the shape of roses. Bake for 8-10 mins at 170°c in a preheated oven. Cool on wire rack and then store in an airtight container.
