Ingredients of Butter Cookies
- It's 2 cups of All purpose flour.
- You need half cup of Suji.
- Prepare half cup of Atta half cup.
- It's 4-5 of Cardamom powdered.
- Prepare 2-3 drops of Vannila essence.
- It's 2 bricks of Butter.
- You need 1 cup of Sugar- powdered.
- It's 1 tbsp of Baking powder.
- You need half tsp of Baking soda.
- You need 10-12 of Cashew-.
Butter Cookies step by step
- Take a bowl and put the butter into it to get soft in the room temperature..
- Once butter has been soft add sugar into it and mix them very well..
- Add vannila essence and crademon powder into it..
- Mix all the flours together and add baking powder and soda into it..
- Now mix it with butter and sugar mix.it may become soft dough no problem.put the mix into fridge..
- After 1/2-1 hour make roll with the mix and press it slightly and put half cashew above it..
- Make all the rolls and put them into baking tray..
- Pre heat the microwave into 220 degrees and cook it for 10-15 min..keep checking..once cookies become light golden in colour. They r ready...
- If you want jeera cookies use salted butter and sprinkle jeera in the place of cashew..
The dough is like my spritz cookies, but with a little milk to make it pipe-able. Make sure it's properly softened to room temperature before beginning. I made the ice box version because it's so quick. Used colored sugar to make them pretty. I really need to find an easy to use cookie press because I'd love to make the spritz version.
