Ingredients of Buttercream icing

  1. It's 1/2 cup of Butter or margarine (stick).
  2. Prepare 1 lb of Sifted confectioners sugar.
  3. You need 4 tbsp of Milk or water.
  4. You need 1 tsp of Vanilla extract.
  5. It's 1/2 cup of Solid vegetable shortening.

Buttercream icing instructions

  1. Cream shorting and butter.
  2. Add suger, vanilla, and milk/water(just a little at a time to desire thickness).
  3. Blend on medium until mixed well.
  4. Blend an additional minute till creamy.
  5. Yields 3 cups stiff frosting.
