Soft, spiced apples wrapped in tender pastry & baked in a luscious brown sugar sauce. These Apple Dumplings are like individual apple pies and they are very easy to make. I have tried many recipes for Apple Dumplings, and this is definitely my favorite!
Ingredients of Apple dumplings
- Prepare 1 packages of crescent rolls.
- You need 1 of apple.
- It's 1 1/4 cup of sugar.
- It's 1 tbsp of ground cinnamon.
- You need 1 1/4 tbsp of vanilla extract.
- Prepare 1 1/2 tbsp of brown sugar.
- You need 1 can of mountain dew.
- You need 1 stick of butter.
Apple dumplings instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cut apple in to 8 slices.
- Roll each apple slice into a crescent roll.
- Melt butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and sugar together on stove.
- Arrange wrapped apples in baking dish pour mixture from stove on top then pour mountain dew on top please make sure you have a little room on top.
- Put into oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Make sure apples are soft.
- Let cool serve and eat.
