Ingredients of Mom's Baked Rice w/butter & onions
- It's 1/2 cup of onion, chopped.
- You need 1/4 cup of butter.
- You need 1 cup of long grain white rice.
- It's 2 cup of chicken broth.
- You need 4 tbsp of melted butter (added after baking).
Mom's Baked Rice w/butter & onions step by step
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Saute onion & butter until it is translucent add to 9x13 baking dish (love my pyrex).
- Add 1 cup long grain white rice. Stir in 2 cups of boiling chicken broth.
- Cover & bake for 18 minutes.
- After taking out of oven, gently stir in 4 tbs of melted butter with fork..
