Ingredients of Mom's Baked Rice w/butter & onions

  1. It's 1/2 cup of onion, chopped.
  2. You need 1/4 cup of butter.
  3. You need 1 cup of long grain white rice.
  4. It's 2 cup of chicken broth.
  5. You need 4 tbsp of melted butter (added after baking).

Mom's Baked Rice w/butter & onions step by step

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Saute onion & butter until it is translucent add to 9x13 baking dish (love my pyrex).
  3. Add 1 cup long grain white rice. Stir in 2 cups of boiling chicken broth.
  4. Cover & bake for 18 minutes.
  5. After taking out of oven, gently stir in 4 tbs of melted butter with fork..
